external page Noé Zufferey is a postdoctoral researcher in the Security, Privacy & Society Group. He focuses on technical and human-computer interaction (HCI) aspects of privacy and security. Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the external page University of Lausanne, where he earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems. His thesis focused on the privacy issues that arise when using wearable activity trackers (WAT).

Earlier, he earned his MSc in Computer Science from the external page BeNeFri network (Universities of Fribourg, Bern, and Neuchâtel) with a specialization in logic.

His research interests are information security & privacy, and human-computer interaction. He also recently developed a particular interest in computer ethics and the impact of new technologies on society, primarily related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT).
