Neele Roch

Neele Roch is a Doctoral Student in Security, Privacy and Society since June 2023. She holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in computer science from the University of Dusseldorf, specializing in usability, security, and human-computer interactions.

With a background in computer science, Neele's research focuses on usable security. She aims to enhance the adoption and effectiveness of secure systems by designing and evaluating user-centric approaches. Her passion lies in conducting empirical studies to assess the usability and effectiveness of secure applications, identifying issues, and developing design recommendations for improved user experiences.

Her research also extends to exploring the impact of deceptive designs in user interfaces. She is interested in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including computer scientists, psychologists, and human-computer interaction experts. By integrating diverse perspectives, she aims to contribute to the design and evaluation of ethical and secure user interfaces.
